The Greater Beaumont Chamber of Commerce is in partnership with multiple public and private utility companies that serve the Southeast Texas region. From proactive public water initiatives, to partnerships with some of the largest refineries, telecommunications, and energy companies in the country, these utility options are available to all Beaumont residents.
Water
The City of Beaumont Water and Sewer Systems provide uninterrupted potable water and ensures that the City of Beaumont receives clean, treated, and high-quality water. The Surface Water Treatment Plant is rated at 40 million gallons per day. The groundwater system is a 17 MGD facility consisting of three deep wells, four booster pumps, and two 5 MG ground storage tanks. The City has six elevated water storage tanks with 6.8 MG of storage capacity, four groundwater storage tanks with 17.7 MG of storage capacity, for a total of 24.5 MG of storage capacity.
